


Modular Theoretical ATPL
Modular ATPL (A) course is designed to be more flexible allows the aspiring commercial pilot to progress through individual modules at their own pace while building knowledge and skills progressively while balancing other commitments.
The ATPL Theoretical Knowledge training is an intensive full-time 10-month course at our training center in Reykjavik. The program combines classroom instruction and computer-based study with our experienced instructors.
The course is structured into manageable subject areas, covering the EASA regulatory ATPL theory training necessary for obtaining a license. Upon successful completion of the EASA ATPL ground school and theory exams, you’ll be closer and well-prepared to embark on to the next stages of your ATPL training.

Icelandic Aviation Training is co-opearting with one of Europes largest and most respected ATOs, Sevenair Academy in Portugal. All students finishing the modular theory training with us will receive a quote from Sevenair Academy for the practical flight training which includes:

All pilot students will also receive a discount on the APS MCC offered by IAT where we utilize the highly advanced Full Flight Simulators (A320neo / B737 -8MAX / B757-200) run by Icelandair in Hafnarfjordur Iceland.

Entry Criteria
To enroll on our Integrated ATPL course you will need to meet the following entry criteria:

Age
Prospective students must be at least 18 years old at the time courses start

Education

A minimum of 10 credits in Mathematics at Second Skill Level.

A minimum of 6 credits in Physics at Second Skill Level.

A total of 15 credits in English, including:

10 credits at Second Skill Level
-
5 credits at Third Skill Level
Alternatively, candidates must have passed the ICAO Language Proficiency Level 4 Assessment.

Note: If the applicant does not meet the credit requirements, they are eligible to take an entry exam to demonstrate their proficiency in the respective subjects.

At minimum EASA Class 2 Medical certificate

Be a holder of a Private Pilot License - PPL(A).
